  We offer local content review services to companies and institutions, as an accredited professional firm by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority. Upon obtaining the certified local content percentage from the Authority, this percentage is submitted along with the financial and technical bids when participating in government or semi-government tenders. The higher the percentage, the greater the chance of securing the tender. What is Local Content?

  Local content is the total expenditure within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the participation of Saudi elements in the workforce, goods, services, productive assets, and technology. Increasing the local content percentage represents a fundamental pillar for transforming the national economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030, by enabling local manufacturers and service providers to multiply their contributions to local content. In simple terms, local content is about retaining the largest possible amount of money spent on purchases within the Kingdom by targeted entities, whether government or private, or even individuals in society. Local content is also a national program in which all economic segments participate, including individuals, the private sector, and the public sector, and all of them can benefit from local content.

Our Local Content Service

  Our local content service includes the following:

• Performing Audit Services for the Local Content Percentage Measurement Model (Baseline): This is done according to the instructions and guidelines of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, and in accordance with Related Services Standard No. 4400 (Engagements to Perform Agreed-Upon Procedures Regarding Financial Information) issued by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants. The auditing process covers all applicable areas within the framework, including “workforce, goods and services, capacity building and employee training, depreciation and amortization.” We carry out the procedures agreed upon by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority until the issuance of the local content percentage certificate (baseline).
• Reviewing the Local Content Certificate and Following Up on Its Issuance: This service is designed to enable private sector entities to apply for the local content service with the assistance of our consultants accredited by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority. The application will be audited and submitted to the Authority for approval, and subsequently, the local content certificate will be issued by the Authority.
